Catalyst's first CD "The Upward Glancing of an Eye ep" containing all original songs written for and at Catalyst is finally complete! Five songs, including Catalyst standards like "Take Me Away" and "Our Saving Grace".

Both services share identical teaching and music, and the same high quality hospitality and Kidtropolis kid's ministry. This represents a milestone for Catalyst, and a big step towards our long-term vision to be a church for all of Humboldt County, not just one (or two) cities.

On Mother's Day, May 10th, 2009 five children were dedicated. The parents introduced their kids to the church, selected and read 'life verses' for each, and then both the parents and the church as a whole affirmed promises.

Each of our pastors have been recently re-certified in the newly updated version of PREPARE/ENRICH, an assessment tool to assist with premarital and marriage counseling. The tool is made by Life Innovations.
