Old School Church Potluck
Not your parents’ style potluck. This month’s theme: Breakfast for Dinner. Please bring $5 or a dish or drink to share.

Knit, Purl, Love
This Sunday Catalyst will be holding a knitting fun-shop. Come one, come all this Sunday December 4th anytime from 4-6 to Arcata Presbyterian. Experience knitters come show off your skills. New to knitting, this is a chance to learn just in time for Christmas. Knitting needles and yarns will be available for newbies.
When: Sunday, December 4 from 4-6 p.m.

Theology on Tap
This will be a night full of theological discussion, food, beer and home brewing (root beer will also be available for those under 21). Theology topic: Justice for the Poor with Jim Wallis. There is an $5 cover charge to help cover the cost of the beer.

Volunteer Christmas Party
If you have served at Catalyst this past year [for anything at all: baked cookies, set up, help with Betty Chinn, lead a life group, etc.], we want to thank you for all you have done. Join us for our Volunteer Christmas Party – Christmas music, a large feast prepared by our elders, Christmas sweaters, gifts, eggnog, and a special guest.

Attend a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
Have you ever attended a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service? If not, it’s a great way to reflect on the birth of Christ, and usher in Christmas Day through traditional Christmas hymns/carols, candlelight, and community. Catalyst won’t be hosting one of these, but we suggest you attend one of the following, depending upon where you live:
Arcata: 6:00 p.m. @ Arcata Presbyterian Church
Eureka: 11:00 p.m. @ First Presbyterian Church of Eureka
Tis’ the Season – Christmas Afternoon Potluck
If you are without a place to go this Christmas season OR you just want to hang out with us, we want to invite you to join us [Jason & Bethany & Valerie & Marc with our kids] for a vegetarian Christmas potluck. Join us at 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Day.
